Our knives are high end precision made to ISO specifications. We start with raw AISI forged steel salt bath heat treated for consistant hardness, triple draw tempered (stress relieved) then precision ground to a fine finish and exacting tolerances. T1-High Tungsten High Speed Steel Knives (18% W T1-HSS) are a grade popular in Europe and wear 20% longer than M2-HSS. Carbide Tipped / Inlay (TCT) knives are offered for 10 times longer life! Planer Knives are priced & packaged in sets of 3 knives or 4 knives when noted. Knives can be purchased in larger balanced sets for high speed planers (i.e. 6, 10, 20 to 32 knife heads).
