Dual Hook 12 / 20 Degree
The 122mm line, 4.80" body diameter, is designed for use on most European and Asian imported moulders using industry standard features and metric hardward. Plus, we have added features not offered by the German tool makers such as a high alloy strong tool steel body for greater tool life and deeper knife pockets to allow wider and thicker steel to be used for additional resharpenings. Our dual cutting angle moulder heads have 2 corrugated knife pockets at a 12 degree cutting angle for hardwood to reduce raised grain and 2 corrugated knife pockets at a 20 degree cutting angle to reduce fuzzing in softwoods. It is like getting two heads for the price of one! This is the best choice for custom millwork producers who need the flexibility to handle any job at a moments notice without having to stock many different cutter heads. Filler wedges for the empty un-used pockets are required. All heads are precision CNC machined from high strength steel & ISO GQ 1.0 balanced to 9,000 rpm. Heads exceed stringent European OEM standards to produce smooth material finishes with years of trouble free use. We also offer single hook heads in 10, 12, 15, or 20 degrees or a combination.
