Well... I just wanted to let you know all is well and I really appreciate your help. I finished installing the new byrd head and it is sweet. You've helped me turn an old decent little planer into a wonderful veneer planing monster! Look at this teak; less than a sixteenth of an inch thick and no tearout. Thanks very much.
